Protonics T2 PRESS RELEASE 1/1/17

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lincoln, NE:         Protonics Technologies, in conjunction with the Sentir Technologies Robotics Lab in San Diego, CA, announced today the release of the Protonics® T2, an Intelligent Neuromuscular Training System™ for health & fitness Centers, professional sports teams, and the fitness enthusiast. First tested with the U.S. Military and elite athletes, the patented Protonics® T2, used during warm-up & workout circuit, allows muscles on both sides of the body to work in synergy, minimizing right-side dominance, and optimizing functional strength, speed, and agility for the athlete in the activity or sport they are performing. The Protonics® T2 is based off of the proprietary Protonics technology originally developed by Ron Hruska PT, MPA and Inventor Frank Joutras. Please see the video at: www.protonicst2.com or on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLjiErgGVBY&sns=em

According to world renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews, who as co-founder of the American Sports Medicine Institute helped support development and testing of Protonics® technology, “The youth injury rate is at an all-time high due in part to sports specific training year round which can result in severe muscle imbalances.” The excitement in the Protonics® T2 release lies in its ability to help offset the detrimental effects related to muscle imbalance, including reduced functional strength, speed, and agility, in addition to possible discomfort and injury. Baseball, football, soccer, golf, cycling, jogging and fitness training are just some examples of sports specific training or activities that can result in this imbalance due to year-round conditioning.

Inventors Frank Joutras, president of Protonics Technologies, and Walter Aviles, president of Sentir Technologies, whose many accomplishments include wearable technology licensed to Facebook®, lead the product development team for this project. They stated “The addition of advanced sensory and communications technology to the proven Protonics products and ecosystem significantly improves the user experience by making the system easier to use, more enjoyable, and providing instant feedback on performance.” Users enable a Protonics® T2 app on their remote device such as a smartwatch, smartphone, or other computing devices that, among other things, brings the exoskeleton they are wearing alive to:

  • Sense and send position & other usage data to their smartwatch or other computing devices.

  • Provide haptic/visual response through the remote device, or the exoskeleton, as to the correct use of the Protonics T2 device as part of their warm-up and workout circuit.

  • Adjust Protonics T2 exoskeleton resistance based on key training movements.

  • Monitor and progress the user through the Protonics T2 warm-up/workout circuit program.

Crossroads Health & Fitness in Lincoln, NE, who is currently the Protonics Research Clinic for new technology,  will be the first to offer customers the new Protonics® T2 system beginning in early 2017.  Members at Health & Fitness Centers will be able to purchase their own personalized exoskeleton wearables directly from the fitness center, which they can then attach to one of many available Protonics® Resistance Cores owned by the health & fitness centers, or purchase their own Protonics® Resistance Core for personal use at home.

Health & Fitness Enthusiasts will be able to place orders on www.Indiegogo.com starting February 15th, 2017.

Protonics Technologies is a privately-held company based out of Lincoln, NE. The company has entered into agreements with the Sentir Technologies Robotics Lab and Inverse Technology Corporation to develop a new line of intelligent Protonics devices for the health and fitness, sports, and medical markets.
